Don’t think so? One example… Why purposefully let the ‘housing crisis’ fester? Low Fed rates (2 fucking percent???!!!) depress the dollar and keep it there. Housing and construction are a HUGE part of our economy. Letting the bubble burst and housing finding its new floor is key to recovery but they keep fucking around under the guise of ‘helping’ to avert foreclosures. They don’t give a rats ass about people getting foreclosed. They’re making it harder NOT to get foreclosed by aiding and abetting the extreme rises in the cost of food and fuel. That Fed rate could go to zero and without a floor to the housing issue very few people are going to be buying a house thinking it may not have ‘bottomed out’ yet.
