Bush is the MAN . So many say he is an idiot but hes been saying what we need to do from the beginning. Democrats
June 13th, 2008 at 11:22 amAnd he was saying these things 8 years ago. No one listned. Letterman summed it up about all liberals when he said “I’m not smart enough to counter any of these things.” It’s all a bunch of media driven spin.
June 13th, 2008 at 11:37 amIts so refreshing to see the 2000 version of George W. Makes me want to vote for him again. If only Congress would have listened to him when we (the Republicans) controlled Congress for most of those 6 years we did.
On another matter, I’m in Malaysia right now and I’m hearing the Call to Prayer speakers going off…..its disturbing, but I’m glad they’re a fellow democracy. It is funny though that in downtown Kuala Lumpur the American embassy and the Iraqi embassy are right next to each other. On a more sour note, I guess in 2007 the Malaysians bought a bunch of Su-30’s.
June 13th, 2008 at 11:49 amInteresting is a good word. Letterman is out of patience with Boznia and Rawanda and the Middle East, decrying the evil; Bush encourages patience and a resistance to trying to enforce American solutions!
June 13th, 2008 at 11:51 amWow; great clip!
FOUR MORE YEARS!!
I wonder what the world and the former USA will look like after 7.5 years of Hussein?
June 13th, 2008 at 12:13 pmIt never ceases to amaze me how Liberals (David Letterman)are so thick headed. They keep saying over and over, inaccurate statements … or at best, statements that are completely misleading… and the worse part, they are unaware of their own stupidity.
June 13th, 2008 at 12:34 pmWhat the hell happened to ‘W’? That’s the guy I remember from 9/12/08.
June 13th, 2008 at 12:35 pmI don’t think anything has happened. He’s still that guy, but when you’re under fire everyone including your own party, it makes it difficult to get stuff done.
It’s become popular to bash Bush even from conservatives. I still say he’s the best President of my life time, including Reagan….if only he was as eloquent, and savy as reagan politically. But as to his character and integrity….none compare. I would definately vote for him over McCain, or Obama…..he will be missed, I promise.
June 13th, 2008 at 1:29 pmThe clip is quite telling. President Bush’s approach to drilling, middle east, economy, sitting president, etc. was the EXACT right approach.
Liberals suffer from being wrong for so long on 99.99% of the issues. And in honesty, I cannot think of the .01% of the issues that they are right, but there has to be at least one.
June 13th, 2008 at 1:47 pmWow! 4 more years here too
June 13th, 2008 at 2:12 pmI’d vote for that guy in a heartbeat
June 13th, 2008 at 4:25 pmI still remember watching it live.
Click through to the you tube site and you can watch the entire interview.
Compare that to the choices today. Damn.
June 13th, 2008 at 4:31 pmPresident Bush is the greatest president ever, in my book. I will miss him when he’s gone. =(
June 13th, 2008 at 6:53 pmHey technically he could run again in 4 years right? He just can’t do more then two terms consecutive?
June 14th, 2008 at 12:10 amI can think of one issue I agree with Liberals - that Hillary Clinton should not be President.
June 14th, 2008 at 3:11 amAfter 9/11 the Democrats realized they had a good chance of being meaningless and decided to oppose anything Bush did - even though most of them had agreed with the war and many had verifiable statements to prove this. So the Democrats and the media went to war with Bush - the elected President in a time of war. Party before country.
Now they are promoting a guy who was raised Muslim and went to an anti-American “church” for 20 years.
I’d vote for Bush again too.
