‘Clinton, Osama Meet’: Detroit Newspaper Prints Key Misspelling - With Video
Looks about right to me. Why fix it?
The Press Association
The editor and publisher of The Detroit News has apologised for a headline error in early morning editions about Barack Obama in which the Democratic presidential nominee-in-waiting was called Osama.
Jonathan Wolman said the headline incorrectly read “Clinton, Osama meet to discuss unity” and appeared on page 17A of about 45,000 newspapers.
Mr Wolman said the error was made during a spell-check search and was caught and corrected about 20 minutes after the newspaper began publishing.
He said his apology was “graciously” accepted by Mr Obama’s campaign. Obama spokeswoman Amy Brundage said the campaign had accepted the apology.
The News plans to run a correction in its next issue
Where’s the paper printed in Dearbornistan? If that’s the case…its no mistake.
Of couse Osama and Obama sound so alike. One’s an apostate traitor to mankind…the other an apostate socialist in an American suit.
Both try to put lipstick on their respective pigs. Osama on Islam…Obama on himself and his core beliefs.
Oik, oink bitches…

June 7th, 2008 at 11:27 amI try to respect others and their opinions. I’m not so sure all your contributors do. Do you also delete inane rightist drivel? Drivel comes from both sides, you know. Left-leaning people are not thereby Communists, Socialists, cowards, Moslems, or fools; they are concerned, patriotic Americns concerned for how the resources of the nation can be protected and used for the common good. Right-leaning people are not thereby redneck, warmongering, stingy, narrow-minded jackasses; they are concerned patriotic Americans who consider small government, justice, fiscal responsibility, and security necessary for a prosperous and secure nation. When intellegent, well-informed, honerable leaders from each side carefully discuss an issue, they usually come up with a pretty good plan. This hostile partisan environment of today is ruining that productive dialogue by making the characteristics of each an idol. Idols must be worshipped, not scrutinized, and disagreement is not just wrong but dishonerable. Such a political environment is tailor-made for fools, demagogues, petit tyrants, and fanatics. Let’s pray it gets better . . . soon!
