Most assuredly those little t*rds did that deliberately. Why else would the catcher duck? He’s fully protected and, at that level of baseball, used to standing in there. I say throw them off the team.

    They’ll never prove guilt…never.

The Battery (Pitcher and Catcher) did it right…they waited until there was a runner on second base and the Catcher will use different signals, like subtraction, addition, first sign after one finger, etc.

Cross-ups at that level happen all the time and even in the Majors.

Those Kids have the perfect alibi.

  3. mike3481

BTW, yeah…they did it on purpose

  4. blastdad( typical white patriot)

The way the catcher dropped away, delibreate. Yank thier scholarships, now!

  5. One Shot

Hard to determine. The catcher almost seemed to drop to body-stop a low ball. Very odd however. Even still, the ump had protection that would stop a 120mph fastball. Might wake him up, but not much more.

  6. One Shot

Another point…the catcher only had to NOT raise his glove to insure that the ump got whacked. He didn’t have to drop down if the intent was to hit the ump.

Besides, how many pitchers at the high school level have enough accuracy to hit a man’s head with a fastball on that one opportune throw?

Now, I will call it an accident…

  7. Big

Deliberate. No doubt about it. Either the catcher had an epileptic fit during the pitch or was making sure he didn’t get in the way of the ball.

    Guilty as charged.
I have seen or have been involved in more than 15,000 baseball games in my life. I have never seen that before and that sure looked like it was done on purpose.

  9. jake

on purpose, yes, but who cares the ump probably sucked and deserved it , not to mention hes wearing a mask, and wasnt hurt at all, its just a simple way to show him your pissed without hurting anyone

  10. Marc Stockwell-Moniz

    Jake,
    Way off base.
    No official deserves IT.

  11. jake

iv’e seen many who deserve alot more than that
