I’m glad you still believe I’m for America, even though I won’t put my hand over my heart during the flag salute.

I’m glad I send shivers up your legs, even though I want to remake America in my own image.

I’m glad you truly believe I have the power to stop the ocean tides, even though I was powerless to vote anything but “present” in hundreds of votes.

I’m glad you are attributing to me the wisdom to run the most powerful country in the world, even though I have lacked the necessary judgement to keep from surrounding myself with criminals and Marxists.

And lastly, I am glad that you have fallen for the image of the Obamessiah, the Magic Negro. For it would be a tragedy if you were to discover before election day that my intent is to disassemble the last vestiges of this independent republic and disembowel the remnant of her freedom loving individuals to remake this country into a fearful and moldable mass subservient to me. And our chant of “Yes we can” will become “Yes I can”.

Obama, I am not glad. In fact, I’m scared shitless to know there are so many Americans willing to be led by fluff and not demand substance. I mourn that too many Americans will willingly sacrifice the hard work of character, integrity, and accountability for the feel-good fix of meaningless sentimentality. And Obama, I pray to God, not to damn America, but to raise up leadership that know they have been called by Him and are accountable to Him.
