Peter Gabriel released it (”when you’re falling”)a few weeks before 9/11. It is/was supposedly on a recommended ‘do not play’ list following that Sept. morning, amongst several others, but that vid is too coincidental.

Third days Blackbird was written in response to The Black Crowes (A great charismatic band, but with a message of false hope)… I’ll venture out on a limb here and draw an analogy here about (The Messiah of the left) Obamas message of HOPE… It’s very attractive to proclaim the end of war, but it is a temporary fix… Like with drug addiction the fix may prevent some pain right now, but the future consequences are always far greater! Obamas followers are like drug addicts seeking a quick fix, they refuse to acknowledge the future implications of what is really a False Hope! I would further argue that Obama has been sold to his followers as “the New Opiate of the Masses”…
The truth is that there is no quick fix to anything and history has proven that it is only hard work and true sacrifice that keeps our nation free, not welfare programs, housing projects, racial divisiveness and appeasing Terrorists!
As for “Flight of Icarus”… That’s a whole other story!
