I’m still amazed by how our country is allowing courts to make our laws. Who is the legislative branch? The justices are to give their OPINIONS - NOT LEGISLATE. The Senators should be held accountable for being punks who won’t do their own dirty work and give it to liberal judges [who by the way we don’t vote for] to turn our country into a socialist hell hole.

1. The legislative and executive can override the SCOTUS.
2. POWs are not subject to our court system.
3. Un-uniformed terrorists are not even POWs.
This ruling is bound to make some soldiers a bit more relictant to take prisoners.

June 13th, 2008 at 5:33 amSo I’m a Marine, and if I get in trouble as a Marine, I’m charged and convicted, and punished through the military, however, these AQ shitheads get more rights as detainees and POW’s than I would get in a trial. That’s awesome, the ground troops who find these guys have less legal rights than the people they detain, especially seeing how majority of these guys are high players in AQ, the masterminds of major attacks in the US or on the US, that’s just amazing. On a side note, seeing Megyn all fired up is phenominal.
