Every military strategist has studied Sun Tzu. He said "Know thy enemy". Why is it that Robert Spencer and many others, including ex-Muslims know their enemy quite well and MN and the US government do not? Ignorance is most assuredly bliss. But in war it is a strategic blunder to fail to identify your enemy and wage the necessary global struggle against it. Removing the necessary adjectives such as jihad, jihadi, Islamo-facism from that identifican process, ties the hands of our startegic planners. In this war, we cannot afford such a blunder. Civilization hangs in the balance. Our enemy is Islam which hides under the long beard (or rubric) of a religion. Knowledge is power. Robert Spencer is a powerful, insightful counter-voice to the imbeciles at Homeland Insecurity, State and DOD.
