Because the point of the story behind the video is you have a growing number of ‘black’ leaders, particularly male, who are now standing up to the black community and stating fact and truth … Even Hussein has done so …
And if you’ll note in the video, these black male leaders who are speaking out against their own community’s complacency in responsibility, they are met with very negative reaction from the community, and the old guard leaders (See; Jesse Jackson from the other day).
Were it a white judge doing and saying these things he would be blasted as a racist.
They cannot sat this about this ‘black’ judge, or Cosby, or even Hussein … so, they attack them as “airing the dirty laundry of the black community” and should sit down and shut up.
It is a social progress in the community that is sadly ignored by one side, and shunned and berated by the other side.
So, yes, it does matter that the judge is black and has taken this professional gamble in trying to influence young black men to straighten up and do right … as with Cosby.

I have even more respect for the man now for being upfront about the problems that continue to exist in the black community. Sadly, many in that same community aren’t willing to listen; they just accuse him of “betraying” black values and continue down the same downward spiral.
