July 17th, 2008 at 8:15 amBaby Sophia [Jaclyn?] was born by emergency C-section at 11:22 p.m. (ET) last night. Apparently she was pressing on the cord and causing her heart rate to be not-so good.
8 lbs, 5 oz., 21 inches … and yelling quite loudly. She’s a beauty!
She’s very big and round, pink and very blonde … and did I mention she has a really great set of lungs? Yeah, she’s from MY DNA …
Both Mommy and Baby are doing great … So’s the son in law, who managed to make it through the C-section without hitting the floor, even when the baby dripped blood on him when the doc held her over the tent to show us. I’m on his notebook computer, on the hospital wireless. So unable to post more than a comment.
Will try to jump on later this evening when I get home.
I see Sgt. Welsh is up and running on the site. Tell him to stay away from the ‘tap dancing’ videos …

I, along with my older sister and younger brother, were all delivered by C-section too (all of us have somewhat large heads!). That’s some serious surgery, thank God American doctors are the greatest in the world! I think I was the lightest of the three, and below 8lbs (nonetheless healthy). Heh, besides being the middle child, I’m the odd man out by being born at a different hospital from both of my siblings.

So I went to the Rockstar Mayhem Festival last night. Thanks to work I missed most of the show. Luckily though I made it for Disturbed and Slipknot.
