My Take On Why Burns Is Going To Sit At Table With Iran

July 16th, 2008 Posted By Bash.

I haven’t heard anybody say this yet. It’s something I have been thinking about all day.

You know, I hear Bolton and Gabriel talk about it, and these two people I really, truly respect and admire and fully agree with most of the time.

So why is the Bush administration seemingly showing weakness or caving in and attending the meeting, just to listen, with the Iranian nuclear envoy Jalili?

We don’t negotiate with terrorists, nor states that sponsor terrorism.

Iran fits the second definition and many aspects of its military wing(s) fall under the first, like the IRGC and the Quds Forces.

As we have heard and know, Muslims and Arabs understand and respect only one thing…power. Physical might. As Brigitte Gabriel said today, Israel flew in and bombed Syria recently…you know, the North Korean nuke reactor they were building there? And we didn’t hear a fukn peep, not a fukn whisper from Syria or the Iranians.

Power, might, superior strength.

So why are we sending this guy into a nuclear negotiating session when it is pretty much common knowledge amongst most peoples, U.S. Government and Bush administration officials included, that it would be a sign of weakness by the United States to do so without Iran first suspending, verifiably, its nuclear enrichment program?

Why would we do that?

Here’s why…

Because Israel is about to kick the living shit out of them shortly, and we will back them up in every aspect of the fight.

And nobody would be able to accuse us of not attempting to allow sanctions to work, and not actually sitting down in the same room with their negotiator.

It’s like saying, “Here, take the first swing, bitch, I’m sitting right here.”

I’ve heard it said today “What if Jalili corners Burns?” and someone, can’t remember who said “He’s enough of a diplomat to know to say to Jalili: ‘Sir, if you wish to speak with us one on one, you know what to do.’”

Drop the fukn program, and we know that ain’t gonna happen.

This is all CYA shit. Covering our Ass after lessons learned of the last 7 years of politics here at home and our deeper knowledge of an enemy who, up until 2002…we weren’t as familiar with as we, as a Nation, are today.

Because there is one thing I have heard Brigitte Gabriel say (and I think Bolton hints at this from time to time) twice in the last two weeks, and I believe she’s right…We’re going to war with Iran, period. The only thing now is whether it’s on our terms or their terms.

And I think Israel is going to throw the first punch, and it needs to be a haymaker. And we need to be right there, backing them up all the way. And we will be.

You tell me…why do you think they’re sending him?

I hope this is it…I hope you are right. We need this showdown because it’s coming whether we want it or not so get in the first punch. Damn right kick the livin shit out of them. Whatever it takes ,whatever sacrifice get it fukkin done now!

Bash, When this story broke I said to my wife, “this is our opportunity to be direct and say “cut the shit, or let’s get it on”. The final line in the sand will be drawn. Let’s not be suprised when Israel throws that first punch within weeks after these “talks”.

Iraq has been quelled and there’s a lot of assets in place for a contingent front. We own the Iraqi airspace and it’s going to be a one-way street eastward. Momentum has been built and we’re on alert.

What i heard on Fox this morning was he was being sent to listen only. That’s how it was put. Listen only.

What ever it is we’re up to, the CIA, NSA and Homeland Security have their hands in it also. There is always some subversive shit going on that we may or may not ever know.

  4. Kurt(the infidel)

Yeah i agree with that theory completely and have even mentioned it to people before. we are exhausting every option this time around whether we know its pointless or not. then the rest of the world and even our own congress and citizens cant say a damn thing when war comes. the Bush administration is following all of the guidelines the democrats have been making up for the last 5 or 6 years.

Personally I believe negotiations must only commence after leveling Iran’s wmd capabilities. However in light of recent maneuvering this is more than likely a display of exhausting all channels of diplomacy prior to an offensive strike(s) as you say Bash. Intelligence on the extent of Iran’s programs probably reveal that negotiations are futile i.e. to say Tehran either has wmds already or is too close to achieving its atomic ambitions to agree to anything. In any event world opinion won’t halt what is coming Mahmoud’s way - he and his mullahs are way over due for a a major reality check, and the IDF and US Forces have just the right stuff to deliver a crippling blow.

Hubris will show once again that so called Persian might is only myth. They are perennial losers having had their butts kicked by countless forces going back 2,500 yrs and nothing much is going to change that now.. if anything the massive defeat they are about suffer soon will seal their fate for the next two millenniums, at least.

Right on target. It’s PYA time and Iran is fixing to find out the tiger has got teeth, big ones. Hope they go ahead and clean Hizbollah’s and Hammas’s clock while they are at it…

I do agree with Bridgette that most Arabs are cowards. I also
they are pig fucking dick wads.

  7. CAPT-DAX

“cut the shit, or let’s get it on”. face to face! last chance!

  8. dadeo

The Iranians are pissing their pants at this news. Their bullshit has been called; and it’s time for the next middle eastern regime change…courtesy of the USA.

    Low gas! Like magic.

  9. TBinSTL (just typical)

You think it’s coincidence that we are about to begin moving assets to the ‘Stan, which just happens to be conveniently located on Iran’s northern border?

Take the mother fuckers out ASAP before they do something first and we regret it. Hit them ASAP!

Hey Bash! I’m sure you’re right. It’s impossible to know about
Bush’s thinking but we do know for sure that Iran is building nukes,
they’ll have one or two in less than a year, they intend to use them,
and Obama would be useless if elected. These are the knowns.
From that you’re right to conclude that Israel will act, it’s back
is up against the wall and they need to move before Bush leaves
    office.
How that punch will get thrown is interesting. According to debka,
who are pretty good on this type of stuff, there’s a Plan-A
(attack Iran) and a Plan-B (first destroy Iran’s proxies, Hezbollah
in Lebanon and Hamas in Gaza. Debka concludes Plan-A cannot happen
before our elections but Plan-B is itching to go.
The Israelis expect some crap to happen within days, Hezbollah
have started using their Iranian missiles to threaten Israeli
ships up to 60 miles at sea off the coast of Lebanon, and
also Israeli fighter jets. If one of those missiles gets fired
and hits the Israelis, the war is on.
Obviously, Plan-B may precipitate Plan-A immediately. Iran
    may jump right in.
Noticed we pulled all our aircraft carriers out of the Persian Gulf.
They don’t need to be sitting ducks.

    So WTF Bash?

I sent in $20 in regard to your appeal.
I’ll check in again in a few months.

I used to have my posts appear until one day when
I questioned why you call everyone the B word.
After that, I seem to be back on the not trusted list.

If ya review my posts, I don’t think ya’ all will find any
    traitor lib tendencies.

So what TF is GOING ON????? If you don’t want my money, I’ll go away.

He needs to say “Is that your final answer?”

 BASH “Because Israel is about to kick the living shit out of them shortly, and we will back them up in every aspect of the fight.”

This is my prayer. I would also hope we have a plan to help the overthrow of the mullahs in Iran and help Iranians achieve a democratic society. God knows, we don’t need another leadership vaccuum only to be filled by another terror regime.
