One of the greatest speaches I have ever heard… it rings with the truth of Freedom.
July 2nd, 2008 at 10:02 am“My family is more important than my party”
“Nothing makes this Marine madder than someone calling us ‘occupiers’ rather than ‘liberators’!”
I have this speech saved in my files. One of the all time greats. Why aren’t our Republicans speaking like this? With such passion, With such courage, With such rightness of purpose.
July 2nd, 2008 at 4:53 pmI remember seeing this when I was 19. I was amazed at the open talk and more so that he was a Democrat. In those 20 minutes I saw what real honest politician it didn’t matter that he was a Democrat. I was blown away. I wonder if I’ll ever see something that again, I certainly hope so. My heart yearns to see someone like that again.
July 2nd, 2008 at 5:44 pmZell gave the best speech by anyone with all the fire it deserved in 2004. All of those who I worked with at the time saw Kerry as doomed by the next morning. On the down side, the vote showed that we have a lot of idiots in our nation.
July 2nd, 2008 at 6:03 pmZell Miller was a politician but a Marine and an American first. this really was one of the best speeches i have ever heard in my life. His words ring just as true if not more today as we getter deeper into the war against Islamo-fascists, chocked up some major victories along the way including the liberation of Iraq. but with this fight still going on we are seeing a democrat party that is becoming more and more Socialist by the day. more radical by the day.
Zell Miller for giving that speech and for serving our country. I admire him more than alot of Republicans because it took twice the balls for him to cut across the political lines and stand with all of us who believe in freedom.
