Bush Meets With National Security Team, Sternly Warns Russia - Video
President Bush met with his National Security Advisers this morning, and after that meeting stepped outside to make an official statement. He is sending Secretary of State Rice to France to meet with French President Sarkozy, whom he says is “The Man” that is handling this whole thing as President of the EU, representing European interests.
He also said Russia better not fuck with our C-17 aircraft bringing in humanitarian aid.
Here’s the statement:
just hurry up, pleaaaaseeee…our forces are in the position of total defence of the city…we can hold out lets say 2-3 days..max
August 13th, 2008 at 7:37 amA C-17 goes down by the hands of Russia and welcome to WW3. The gloves will have to come off completely with Russia, Iran and the Afgan/Paki border.
August 13th, 2008 at 7:38 amLets hope the humanitarian aid includes lots of anti tank weapons.
August 13th, 2008 at 7:51 amWhat else can be done? Sending Condi to France surely indicates there is nothing much for the Georgians to count on from the West.
August 13th, 2008 at 7:56 amFolks, sending in humanitarian aid via the military is BIG! This is a challenge to the Russians. If they even sneez in our direction we could be watching a serious escallation.
August 13th, 2008 at 8:00 amrussia has been planning this for over a yr.. georgia is now in the hands of russia..russia has proven that they can not be trusted.. they lie at every statement..they should be tried for lying in the UN court.. and fined $50.. maybe we should let madelin albitch go over and talk to them..
August 13th, 2008 at 8:00 amHumanitarian aid is a pretty broad statement, what’s more important is WHO he said would be in charge of it “Our Military” and how it is to be delivered “By air and by Navel vessels. So I wonder which fleet has been tasked to go into the black sea? And I wonder how many cbu-92’s … whoops I meant humanitarian aid packages are to be dilivered?

You are absolutely right. It’s too bad though, that America has to actually be attacked and her citizens die by the thousands before we finally wake up and kick the shit out of who did it, let alone come to the defense of a 3rd world country who is being taken down by a bunch of piss-ant russian forces.

August 13th, 2008 at 8:09 amAZ we have a constant fleet presence in the Med as per agreements. I suspect it may be our eastern fleet who will react to this. Just my guess.
August 13th, 2008 at 8:15 amHoly shit gang! GWB has his war face on, and is about to take Russia’s bait.
Let’s not forget that the ruskies have an awful lot of nuclear firepower. All of our talk and posturing about Iran getting a hold of a nuke is about to amount to la-tee-fuckin-dah!!
Pootin has been itching for a fight with the US for loooong time. If this shit flares up we seriously need to smack Russia down with a heavy assed hand. I mean knock-out punch from the first bell.
Good thing Hussein went on vacation; we may have to hear how he wants to sit down without preconditions with those treacherous lying bastards.
August 13th, 2008 at 8:27 amwhy does every thing take so damn long? nero fiddles while Georgia burns. they need our assistance right now. if Russia sacks the capital then its all over
August 13th, 2008 at 8:31 amwhom he says is “The Man” that is handling this whole thing as President of the EU, representing European interests
he is handling the whole thing precisely because you can’t anymore without the probability of escalation for violences against the Georgians and thus igniting a real WW3.
I am sure that President Bush doesn’t want that
August 13th, 2008 at 8:37 amGod help everyone if shit happens….
August 13th, 2008 at 8:42 amIf pootie attacks tiblisi we should attack russian forces in Georgia. Who gives a fuck about Russias nukes Pooty wont use them
August 13th, 2008 at 8:59 amAll ahead flank speed!!!! I bet our subs are already in position in case shit get’s ugly!
August 13th, 2008 at 9:07 ami think russia’s intentions and their assessments of our willingness to act are pretty fucking clear.they obviously think we are stretched too thin to come off the porch and bite their ass.here’s a news flash russia-our army and marines are a little busy right now but our navy and air force got somethin’ fo’ yo’ ass.
nukes?-don’t even dream of it.you know we have the ability to totally neutralize that threat, probably from outer fucking space.
August 13th, 2008 at 9:16 amWould these be the same kind of stern warnings that Bush was giving Iran a year ago?
August 13th, 2008 at 9:21 amPeople keep forgetting China has troops on Russias border itching to cross it.If its war Russia wants they may be eating Chinese food in Moscow.
August 13th, 2008 at 9:26 amI read an interesting piece at Sigmund Carl and Alfred about the Russian army partially made up of conscripts.History shows that conscripts are only good if the going is good.In the past when the going gets tough they are usually the first to surrender, throw down their weapons and head for home and in some instances have turned on those they were fighting for.Russian armor is a joke, most of it pre cold war.
We could help Georgia by taking out this armor and never putting a boot on Georgia soil.
If I were the Russians I would take the warning and back off. Humanitarian aid delivered by the military — You wonder how many fighter bombers are over the horizon, just in case. With bases in Iraq, Afghanistan and turkey, it’s a short hop.
August 13th, 2008 at 10:05 amGiorgi we’re coming…See you soon!
August 13th, 2008 at 10:28 amRussia is a Bully. What happens when you don’t want to stand up to a Bully the first time they test you? The people closest to Russia need the most support. Stand up to them now or pay for it later.
August 13th, 2008 at 11:17 amWe need to dominate the skies and pronto.
August 13th, 2008 at 11:44 amOnce we rule the air, we can say who goes and who doesn’t.
Hold on Giorgi…Help is on the way.
Iraq was manned by Georgian Soldiers so we owe Giorgi one I think
August 13th, 2008 at 1:11 pmGiorgi, hang on.. help is on the way (even tho you may not see it in the media).
Folks, sending in humanitarian aid via the military is BIG! This is a challenge to the Russians. If they even sneez in our direction we could be watching a serious escallation.
I agree…sending in “humanitarian” aid via the military is not to be “misunderestimated,” if you’ll pardon the pun. Thankfully we have Sarkozy on our side, and he strikes me as a bluff-taker. It’s time to take Putin the pussy out to the woodshed and show him what it’s like to play in the big leagues.
Thank GOD the “chosen one” is not our President right now.
P.S. Does anyone else think that all this shit happening right now is a coincidence? I think Putin is trying to push GW to do something that will make him look bad. Unfortunately for Pooty, Bush has nothing to lose and he will not take too kindly to being pushed around. Don’t fuck with a cowboy, my friend. And if McCain is elected? Pooty is in even DEEPER dog squeeze!
Yippee kay-yay motherfucker!
August 13th, 2008 at 3:48 pmIt’s always driven me crazy when the lefties call the liberation of Iraq, “BLOOD FOR OIL”…When it’s not, and when BLOOD is really shed for oil, they are amazingly quiet…Russia has been planning this for quite a while…This chess game has global ramifications…And we’re a few moves behind…
August 13th, 2008 at 4:29 pm(something happen to my first comment?)
Anyway I was saying the same.. HANG ON, GIORGI! We’re probably already there, but the media doesn’t know it. And I agree… “humanitarian aid” via military aircraft is a trojan horse for the Russians. Putin is a pussy and he’s treading on thin ice.
TODAY I AM A CITIZEN OF GEORGIA!
August 13th, 2008 at 4:32 pmHang on over there!! I like Ms. Rice’s Comments from yesterday explaining that this is not 1968 and it simply won’t be tolereated. IF Russia wants to play on the big field they need to play by the rules.
August 14th, 2008 at 3:58 amGiorgi, hang in there! I will be praying for you, and for all the good citizens of Georgia. It will not stand. God is on your side and so is the USA!!! We are behind you, all the way.
August 18th, 2008 at 5:14 pmGod bless.
