Desperate Democrats And Classless Libs … Circling The Drain - Edit

So, let me get this straight. The liberal void in cyber space is now pushing the idea that baby Trig Palin is NOT Sarah and Todd Palin’s baby … but their grandson? The left and the dems got … NOTHING!

They are now making things up out of thin air— hell! a vacuum!

Why so desperate? Have a look at Tale of the Tape: Sarah Palin vs. Barack Obama .

EDIT - 7:05 pm ET:

I’m sorry, I forgot to include this too. Seems the left believes Palin named baby Trig and his sisters after TV witches … {sighhhhhhh …} … Here:

Sarah Palin Witch-Mother? [Jonah Goldberg - NRO]

Uh, no. Stuart Buck writes:

One weird bit from a New Republic post on McCain’s choice of Sarah Palin (it seems to be credited to professor Alan Wolfe, but surely he wouldn’t say something that is without evidence):

Sarah Palin named two of her children after witches, once took drugs, and refused to sign a bill forbidding domestic benefits for gay couples.

It’s unclear where this “witches” claim is coming from, although I suspect it’s due to this post from Andrew Sullivan:

A reader plumbs the weirdness: “Willow” was Buffy the Vampire Slayer’s best friend and “Piper” was the eldest sister on the series Charmed played by Shannen Doherty. The governor obviously has a penchant for television shows of paranormal female empowerment.

Alas, one problem for this theory is the timing: Buffy the Vampire Slayer didn’t start airing until 1997, whereas Sarah Palin’s daughter Willow is described as being 14 years old. I don’t know whether she turned 14 this year or will turn 15 later this year, but I’m pretty sure that 2008 minus 14 equals something before 1997.

Otherwise, that’s a great theory . . .

Update: From a reader:

People Magazine interview

Where do your children’s names come from?

TODD: Sarah’s parents were coaches and the whole family was involved in track and I was an athlete in high school, so with our first-born, I was, like, ‘Track!’ Bristol is named after Bristol Bay. That’s where I grew up, that’s where we commercial fish. Willow is a community there in Alaska. And then Piper, you know, there’s just not too many Pipers out there and it’s a cool name. And Trig is a Norse name for “strength.”

Sullivan should really consider being a KOS diarist.

And then there is THIS evil lie that is being spun and spun over at the empty space that is Kos:

The Daily Kos Smear Machine: Sarah Palin Faked A Pregnancy!

by John Hawkins - (Rightwing News)

You could tell that the Left was caught flat footed by the selection of Sarah Palin as McCain’s VP yesterday. They started off by attacking her experience, which is deeply ironic, given that she is more qualified to be President than their own nominee, Barack Obama.

So now that they’ve figured out that the only real criticism they’ve been able to hit her with better applies to the guy at the top of their ticket than Palin, they’ve started going in a bizarre, new direction.

Over at the Daily Kos, there is a blog post called (and, no, this is not some kind of parody) Palin’s faked “pregnancy”? Covering for teen daughter? UPDATE #2!.

But it appears that Palin’s last child, a baby with Down’s syndrome, may not be hers. It may be that of her teenage daughter.…Apparently her teenage daughter was out of school, unseen, for months, because she “had mono”.I’m not quite sure what to think of this. Seeing as how she opposes abortion even in cases of rape and incest maybe she’s actually not a hypocrite.

Normally I’d say this is a totally private issue for them, but seeing as how she’s quite willing to butt into the private lives of every other American woman, I think it’s fair game.

Yes, folks, the most influential liberal blog on earth is really floating the idea that Sarah Palin, this year, while she was in the eye of the media because she’s governor of Alaska, faked having a baby to cover up for her teenage daughter’s pregnancy.

Gosh, if only there were some evidence out there that Palin was pregnant, just anything at all to refute this brilliant investigative journalism by the Kossacks — oh wait, how about, courtesy of Hot Air, this picture from February 26th of this year?

1

Gee, she doesn’t look quite as trim as she did yesterday, does she? It’s almost as if she had gained quite a bit of weight for some unknown reason. Well, there can be only one answer….obviously, Karl Rove had her gain the weight to cover up the fake pregnancy, just so she could use her child as a campaign prop if the McCain camp were to choose her as Vice-President.

Now, you’re thinking like a Kossack!

Me: As I said … NOTHING!

Fu*k KOS! the people over there are a bunch of idiots. wonder how they came up with such a conspiracy in the first place. no one remembers seeing Sarah Palin pregnant? what about the doctors? they are so desperate for a dem victory that they would stoop to this. Im surprised that Obama hasnt hired the band of dummies over there as speech writers.

  2. drillanwr (Today I am an Alaskan!)

I’m putting my personal comment here, instead of at the top.

As the Mother of a Down Syndrome child, I know the odds for such a genetic abnormality increase with the [age] of the woman who would become pregnant.

However, DS births are NOT unheard of in teen women … but are very rare. So, taking into consideration Gov. Palin’s age (mid 40s … I was in my early 40s) and the age of a teen girl … and given the odds … exactly who would YOU put your money on in this bet?

  3. CBL

This is typical, keep watching if it hasnt started yet, you will see a lot of these liberal female gooney-goo-goos talking about the fact that Sarah Palin is attractive and McCain is jsut picking her becaseu she looks good. Of course these are the same bushhogs that picket hooters because its degrading to women.

They are also talking about her inexperience which is completely inconsequential when compared to Osama. She is going for #2 not #1. With the way the MSM is talking McCain is going to drop dead before the end of the year. And honestly if you want Biden to be president if Osama kicks the buckeet you are smoking shit.

I like her because of who she is not what she has accomplished politically. SHe is like to girl next-door. She reminds me of a neighbor. Just an ordinary everyday hardworking american mom. Who better to help put forward legislation that will affect my children than a mother of 5?

I thought the dems wanted a fresh face? I thought they wanted some new blood? My my my how they have changed their tune…….again

  4. DangerGirl

I blame the Anchorage Alaska paper that fanned the flames for this Kossacks:

    http://www.adn.com/front/story/336402.html

Check out the snide remarks from other women in gov’t but here’s here Palin’s brilliant comeback:

“To any critics who say a woman can’t think and work and carry a baby at the same time, I’d just like to escort that Neanderthal back to the cave,” Palin said.

Someone should send to that sexist CNN Anchor John Roberts who had this to say following the announcement that she was the VP Pick:

“There’s also this issue that on April 18th, she gave birth to a baby with Down’s Syndrome…. Children with Down’s syndrome require an awful lot of attention. The role of Vice President, it seems to me, would take up an awful lot of her time, and it raises the issue of how much time will she have to dedicate to her newborn child?”"

  5. EDinTampa

Ignore the left, continue the praise of Gov. Palin.

She’ll be able to hold her own against anything the idiots from the left throw.

    Yeah … I’m ALL OVER that little stinker’s kissy-mouth!

  7. AZ Patriot (Merchant of Death)

You remember at the end of Die Hard when john McClane pops his wife’s watch loose and Hans plunges to his death?

Hans = the Democratic Party grasping onto anything to try and not plunge to their death, regardless of how thin or weak it might be.

    Later Hans! POP!

  8. Mike Mose

The left knew they were in trouble when they selected Obama.

The Pumas are already planning to defeat Obama for not selecting Hillary. Then this. This is just the very beginning of the absolutely most disgusting politics in American history.

It would not surprise me to see Hillary and Bill come out in support of McCain Palin.

  9. Knottie

Correct me if I am wrong but her husband is a stay at home father caring full time for his family. Are they saying men can not properly care for a family? More of the dad’s are not necessary liberal mindset I think. Dad’s are so important and I really respect Mrs. Palin’s husband for being a strong, hands on, active, supportive father and husband. I think this family has it together and is doing it wonderfully. And it eats the Dems up!

What next.. she put spells on people to make them vote for her?? They have nothing and it is killing them.

  10. Steve in NC

This may be the beginning of the end of the current version of the d’rat party. Their chosen candidate is void of any meaningful experience and has too many connections with persons that are criminals or are openly anti_American. He is an empty suit and that is the best they have to offer up.

While I may not agree 100% with McCain, he is a valid candidate. The Palin pick may go down as an important moment in history if it is successful. It is another example of the Republican party supporting individual freedom and opportunities to succeed.

I want to believe the American citizenry is smart enough to see through the obama campaign for the fraud that it is and will either choose to support someone else or not vote on the Presidency.

It will get ugly, but that is true of most things in the throes of death.

  11. This Guy

    Wow, what disgusting pigs.

Expected nothing more out of them, though…

  12. billie (Today I'm a Georgian)

Hillary had a live-in (?) nanny for Chelsea the whole time she was growing up. Remember she and Bill (illegally) claimed her on their income tax return?

I’m surprised no one’s talking about Palin’s academic record. Liberal elitests are no doubt snickering because she didn’t attend an Ivy League college.

Palin graduated from the University of Idaho with a Bachelor of Science degree in Communications-Journalism (she also minored in political science).

So let’s dig out Obama’s college grades from where they’ve been hidden and compare them to Palin’s (or to McCain’s for that matter).

  13. Old Sailor

Clearly, the Liberals are desperate to try and discredit Sarah Palin before their Socialist ship goes down on Nov 4th.

I hope Sarah has a thick skin, because anyone running for public office, especially in a national election, has to be as tough as an old boar hog and still be able to smile. She’s a great speaker and candidate. I think she’d make a great President too. God speed, John and Sarah.

  14. Zeke Eagle

Keep it up KOS, Mr. Palin will have his lawyers prepare a beautiful ironclad libel suit soon after his wife is sworn in as Vice President of the United States.

KOS be grateful those people are gentlefolk and that I don’t know where you live.

  15. wondering - in alaska

Ok .. I am an alaskan and have no problem with Sarah and the job she has done really but i do question her judgement.

She got on a plane later in her pregnacy when doctors tell you not to fly.

she knew well before leaving her baby was in a high risk deleivery as many down’s babies are born with health issues.

she went into labor in texas and got back on a plane to come home to Alaska.

Now she did not stop in juneau but flew back to anchorge. but once there did not go to the major hospitals in the state but went onto the valley.

she did all this knowing her baby was being born a month early !

This in my opinion is a very poor choice at best as it put her son at risk. beacuse why ??? she did not want him born in Texas ??

Many are questioning McCains judment ……..i am questioning Sarah’s

  16. drillanwr (Today I am an Alaskan!)

    wondering - in alaska

But, you see, my problem is this …

    It was her “choice”.

Now, we are not permitted to question a woman’s “choice”, as in her ‘right to choose’ … if she decides to abort her baby.

However, we can, and by liberal reasoning, question a woman’s “choice” when it involves her “right to choose” … only she chooses to have her baby … and how she has that baby.

No drugs, no pain killers … Natural child birth.

No spanking the newborn to make him/her cry out and gasp for air to clear their airway and force them to breath … No, shove an object up their nose and suck the fluids out.

Women can give birth in bath tubs, swimming pools, I have even seen one of those learning channel shows where the woman gave birth in the ocean!

But this is all beside the point.

The point is, THIS was Sarah Palin’s choice, to continue with her course and to go where she wanted to for delivery.

Might not have been your choice … but it was hers.

This was between Sarah Palin and her doctor …

Just as a woman’s “right to choose” is between her and her doctor.

The left is in a spasm because this mother chose NOT to abort her baby when she found out he had a genetic disorder. To them, Sarah Palin chose wrong.

But the way I see it … Sarah Palin decided she would meet with her son Trig without any preconditions … or pre-judgement.

And THAT just gets the liberals and pro-abortionists every time.

And I for one am very happy to piss them off …

I know who you are. I see it in your eyes out there in public when you look at my little girl.
