Welfare for corporate farmers, family farmers are just lucky enough to be in the “kill zone” of the subsidies. It may be tough love but we do not need to make our farmers more dependant of Government mandates again. We saw what happened in the Carter years and after.

The experts on the PBS documentary stated that the U.S. has enough farmland to produce 25% of our fuel needs, they omitted the major problem with that idea which Ron Baily covered in this video “Now what does that net out to? In order to produce that, under current conditions that would basically equal turning the entire American corn crop into Ethanol.”… Supporting that is a University of Minnesota’s Study that found that only about 12% of transportation fuel needs can be met by using the entire American corn crop for ethanol production…

Furthermore Ron Baily and The University of Minnisota study are only referring to the production amount of 12% in order to satisfy the congressional mandate… PBS was touting 25%, where do they plan on coming up with the other 13%?

Well, look at the bright side… At least you wont have to waste fuel by driving to the grocery store anymore! Cause you wont be able to afford either when the environmentalists get done fixing the order God created!
