Surprise! - MSM Publishes False Headline
Do these guys look like any “Soldiers” you know? Yeah, me neither.
KUDOS to Humbled Infidel for this photo!
This is the Headline:
PARADE OF 4,000 Iraq war veterans protest at convention
And the story:
About 50 Iraq war veterans led a parade of thousands of demonstrators Wednesday afternoon in a boisterous march that was Denver’s largest protest so far this week.
The Iraq Veterans Against the War group led the four-mile procession from the Denver Coliseum to the Pepsi Center, site of the Democratic National Convention, calling for Barack Obama to end U.S. involvement in Iraq and improve health care for veterans.
As many as 4,000 protesters took part, according to a police estimate.
The 50 veterans who led the demonstration included some in full military dress. As they marched along an industrial area far from downtown, they chanted, “My buddy’s in the foxhole with a bullet in his head. . . . I called to get the medic, but he’s already dead.”
For the BULLSHIT MSM report: Read here:
Press Democrat
50! 50 people who don’t believe in the war. 50! Can I PLEASE get a WTF?How many people are in the Armed Services today? From the APThousands stage anti-war protest march
DENVER (AP) — A column of people three blocks long, led by members of the Iraq Veterans Against the War, streamed from the Denver Coliseum on Wednesday in an anti-war protest march to the Pepsi Center, where the Democratic National Convention is being staged.
As many as 50 soldiers (?) wearing army fatigues led the noisy but peaceful protest into downtown and toward the Pepsi Center as police and bystanders watched.
“We are the veterans! The Iraq War veterans! The anti-war veterans!” they chanted. “We are soldiers! Anti-war soldiers!”
Crowd estimates, generally around 2,000, were fluid as the group lost and picked up people along the way.
Not surprised!
Just more MSM bullshit…..trying to make themselves look bigger than they really are.
August 28th, 2008 at 6:39 pmyour site rocks sir…thank you.

You know what I always say …
That fucking dog just won’t hunt!
August 28th, 2008 at 6:46 pmDickless cowards.
August 28th, 2008 at 6:55 pmInteresting Census Stats and “Been There” Wanabees:
1,713,823 of those who served in Vietnam were still alive as of August, 1995 (census figures).
* During that same Census count, the number of Americans falsely claiming to have served in-country was: 9,492,958.
By this census, FOUR OUT OF FIVE WHO CLAIM TO BE VIETNAM VETS ARE NOT.
………………………………
Some things never change.
August 28th, 2008 at 6:56 pm1.3 Million are in the U.S. Military
August 28th, 2008 at 7:13 pmbunch of douchebags who probably joined the service “to pay for college”. f#ck them.
August 28th, 2008 at 7:40 pm“bunch of douchebags who probably joined the service “to pay for college”. f#ck them.”
Or, knowing these pukes, they were never in at all.
August 28th, 2008 at 7:48 pmOf the 50 guys in military dress, how many do you think were actually in the military? How many simply picked up the togs at the local military surplus store? How many were actually vetted by the press? Not a single one I’d bet. What bullshit.
August 28th, 2008 at 8:04 pmI seriously doubt these are vets
August 28th, 2008 at 8:26 pmProbably more like CounterStrike veterans! lololol
August 28th, 2008 at 8:26 pmIf they are anti-war soldiers, and parading down a street, then they can’t possibly be soldiers.
Look, all bullshit aside, there is no more anti-war individual on the planet than a soldier. But we do the things that we are asked to do not because we like it, or want it, but because it is our FUCKING DUTY.
I am so tired of these fucks getting press time because they fit the mold of the agenda for the libs. These are the fucking National Guard deployees who joined for the college money, “Not to go to war!”. What a bunch of no nut having douche bags. I swear, every time I hear how much this country has forgotten about the 3000 innocent lives taken in 2001, I want to beat some of these assholes senseless.
Ok, you’re anti-war. I am pro-war then. And I say that the anti-war pukes are my first fucking target when we kick the revolution in the ass and get it started.
August 28th, 2008 at 8:44 pmProtesting the Iraq war at this point is like booing freedom.
4000 “Iraq Veterans” out of 1.5 million veterans serving in Iraq so far.
1 in 375 pussies who need to get a life.
If we take the more realistic 50 number the article uses (confusingly) then, the number is 1 in 30,000
Either way I don’t think this merits any news organizations attention.
Btw I like how pussies doesn’t get that annoying red line of grammatical death on this site.
August 28th, 2008 at 8:46 pmi also noticed another very suspect story in a newspaper here in australia stating that the cia have sabotaged iran’s nuclear program via a swiss company selling iran nuclear equipment. Seemed very odd because it appeared to hint towards someone in the CIA leaking the story.but really how would leaking details of it to the media be a smart move? to me it just seemed like some leftist douche making up a story to try make out iran is not a threat anymore.and there was also an extremely graphic documentary on a US army field hospital in iraq aired here and i saw an ad for another one about service men and women voting in the upcoming election im guessing its just more liberal propaganda. But what is the point in airing these things in australia?
August 28th, 2008 at 8:51 pmWinter Soldiers is what I see
August 28th, 2008 at 9:07 pmalex:
It’s possible that the graphic footage from the U.S. Army field hospital is Hollywood-related. Someone like Michael Moore might have produced it for the shock value and to try to discredit Pres. Bush’s policies.
Just wait…if Obama becomes president, you’ll see the kind of propaganda that only people like Hitler enjoyed.
August 28th, 2008 at 9:38 pmThose do NOT look like soldiers-ex soldiers maybe. p.s. do not insult the guard, they have done their fair share.
August 29th, 2008 at 2:29 amMakes me so mad I could KILL…
August 29th, 2008 at 2:43 amMARINES graduate 550/week… r they wrong????.
August 29th, 2008 at 4:08 amThe MSM and the Democrats have taking a line that supports our enemies in this and every future war. The entire world knows that the Democratic party will fold like a house of cards in any conflict now and in the future. The Left is the key to victory over America. The GOP stands alone with freedom loving countries. The Democrats stand with the very enemies that have attacked this country. The left has allied itself with our enemies by attacking the battlefield soldiers and commands. The lines are drawn, watch as the left protects radical Islams financial funding via OPEC.
August 29th, 2008 at 4:09 amThese are the same shitbags that will say to you they were duped by their recruiters.
August 29th, 2008 at 4:14 am“wtf is an anti war soldier?”
A traitor.
August 29th, 2008 at 4:36 ammindy,
I don’t insult the Guard. I simply stated that these particular “soldiers” are of the mentality that they didn’t join “to go to war” they joined with the mentality that they would serve a little bit for the benefits.
Bear in mind that a lot of the folks you talk to here are vets, including myself.
I don’t have the space here to reflect my experience going from RA to NG. I will tell you this, it was a joke in 1996. I wouldn’t have felt the least bit comfortable going on a camping trip with the unit I was assigned. (NG unit that is). The drills were an inconvenience to most of the turds that were in that unit. They just wanted their money, without the sacrifice. I had a sergeant in the NG unit actually tell me that I “took this military shit way too seriously, we’ll never see combat, why would you want everyone in your command to hate you?” This was after we had Army Reserve deploy in Desert Storm, so the precedent was established.
Nah, I will agree, there are some good NG units that sacrificed just as much as the RA units. They are the exception.
August 29th, 2008 at 6:49 amtedders,
As I stated previously, just about every soldier is anti-war. But every good soldier is anti-war while he get’s his job done so his brothers can make it home beside him, without fail, and without question as to why.
I know some very honorable soldiers, just like myself, that dread the words, “We are at war” just before they grit their teeth and get the shit done. We suppress our “anti-war” feelings because we know we are at war, typically because one dumb ass, or on group of dumb asses, couldn’t leave well enough alone and go along with the rest of the world when it comes to letting people be free, letting people believe the way they wish, or just plain let people live who have the God given right to exist. That one dumb ass, or the group of dumb asses, needs to be punished, and somebody has to do it. Might as well be those of us who are trained to be the best in the world. The US Marines, The US Army, The US Navy, The US Air Force, and The US Coast Guard.
Nah, these particular anti-war “soldiers” are propogandists and I would be willing to bet that none of the group’s “soldiers” have a DD214 that could compare to any of the Dollardites’.
August 29th, 2008 at 6:57 amthese vets seem to forget “enemies foreign and domestic” pretty often!
August 29th, 2008 at 7:22 amlet’s see dr lic’s,soc sec card and dd214’s.
anyone caught impersonating real men and women(i.e.soldiers) should be sent to a-stan equipped with a rusty k-bar and a fucking bicycle helmet

MARINES graduate 550/week… r they wrong????.
Depends on time of year and if you are counting San Diego and Parris Island. This week in San Diego it is 350+, next week will be almost 600 (Summer Surge)
August 29th, 2008 at 8:29 amA Honorable Veteran is Pro-Victory
A Winter Soldier is pro-liberal propagandist or a lying person claiming to be what they are not - which is illegal. We have pictures of some of them. We should do the research and if those we see are not, then we should do our duty and expose them, give the information to our military and law enforcement and get them jailed! It’s great fun exposing dishonorable pukes.

That made me giggle like a
August 29th, 2008 at 4:52 pmretardbrainless liberal.I read about this crap somewhere else, it turns out that the 50 so called veterans just happened to be outside as a Rage against the machine concert let out. Crowd at concert was estimated at 9000, but the 50 so called veterans were able to only attract up to 2000 of the dope smoking hippies at the concert.
August 29th, 2008 at 5:08 pmAnd is 50 really impressive? Shit, when my unit deployed to Iraq we had over 450 soldiers on the manifest. Everyone of them came home too. How about a Hooahh type story of the soldiers instead of a bunch of little-dicked m.f.’s that crave/need/pray for attention?
Talking of misleading headlines from Military.Com of all places
McCain Plan Moves Some Out of VA Care
“If John McCain is elected president, wounded veterans could be in for a world of hurt.”
What McCain proposed was additional health care options for Vets outside of the VA Hospitals. Read his speech & tell me how they came to that conclusion.
