The Flags Of Denver Laid To Waste In The Messiah’s Wake
Ah! Yes! The lights. The cameras. The production. The finely rehearsed speeches. Just the right suit and tie. The wearing of the party ideology on the sleeves … loyalties and devotion stamped onto thick paper signs adorned with red, white, and blue paint.
Using of the “Glory” to portray views as if they were held in ‘consensus’ …
The waving of “the colors” in mass as if it is solely owned …So much political fodder. And when all is said and done … and the lights go down, the cameras are turned off, and the party dispenses with the awashed feeling of a well spoiled child late on Christmas Day …Nothing is left sacred.
Anybody spot a Flag lapel pin in there?
The Flags Of Our Fathers Thrown Out With The DNC TRASH
(nods to Humbled Infidel … pictures from Red State)
LBA COMMENT HERE:Flags Of Our Fathers thrown out with the trash. Guess the Democrats had no other use for them.
I absolutely hate how the flag is disrespected these days, most people don’t even know how to properly display it.
American tradition is being lost.
August 29th, 2008 at 8:55 pmNO respect for the flag. None. Disgusting!
I guess I’ll go to bed red-faced now.
August 29th, 2008 at 9:05 pmI would have been picking through the trash saving the flags.
August 29th, 2008 at 9:45 pmOur enemies reveal themselves and the MSM advertises that revelation. How much longer can we hold fire.
August 29th, 2008 at 9:54 pm?????????????????????????????????
August 29th, 2008 at 9:56 pmsuch disrespect. i still go out every time we are about to get a bad thunderstorm, take the flag off the house, roll it around the poll and bring it in the house because im afraid the wind will make it hit the ground. and i live in the middle of nowhere where no one would see it happen except me, but that would be the problem.
Obama and his supporters have no respect for this country and the sacrifices made by others to keep it together.
August 29th, 2008 at 10:31 pmFrom the U.S. Code Collection (Cornell Law School):
“[The flag] should not be embroidered on such articles as cushions or handkerchiefs and the like, printed or otherwise impressed on paper napkins or boxes or anything that is designed for temporary use and discard.” (Respect of Flag, Title 1, Section 8, paragraph i)

I’m a stickler for the proper handling of the American flag, but as far as I know there is no written protocol for the disposal of paper flags.
Flags made from long-lasting fabrics (such as cotton or rayon) that are no longer serviceable are, preferably, to be respectfully burned.
Veterans groups and even the Boy Scouts willingly dispose of non-serviceable flags.
August 29th, 2008 at 11:36 pmLet’s not question their (snicker)patriotism.
August 30th, 2008 at 2:40 amLet’s see. How can I be respectful and yet show them how I really feel? I know. ASSHOLES! But that is not strong enough. I am not at a loss for stronger words, just at a loss for words that I can use in a way that would not shock my Mother. Well, there’s half a word.

“I am not at a loss for stronger words, just at a loss for words that I can use in a way that would not shock my Mother.”
Try reprobate(s)
Adjective
* S: (adj) depraved, perverse, perverted, reprobate (deviating from what is considered moral or right or proper or good) “depraved criminals”; “a perverted sense of loyalty”; “the reprobate conduct of a Democrat politician”
August 30th, 2008 at 5:29 amGuys
In ALL honesty, someone needs to get in touch with the GOP/RNC handling the Convention next week and warn them about this … and to make certain THEY do not repeat this … because the MSM WILL make a major point of exposing [their] disgrace …
August 30th, 2008 at 6:43 amI was pissed off at seeing all of the Obama fans waving the very flag that they’ve spent the last 8+ years taking a crap on.
