Jon blasts ‘evil’ Roseanne Barr

JON VOIGHT has branded ROSEANNE BARR as “evil” for launching a vicious attack on his daughter ANGELINA JOLIE and her hubby BRAD PITT.
Roseanne posted a bitter tirade against the Hollywood couple on her website, accusing them of donating money to charity for the sole purpose of building themselves a reputation as heroes of humanitarian causes.
The sitcom queen also slated the pair for only splashing out a tiny percentage of their multi-million dollar earnings, hinting they should be parting with a great deal more to better the lives of those less fortunate.
Now veteran actor Jon has hit back, insisting Roseanne can’t be taken seriously after she was exposed as a “psychopathic liar” for allegedly telling tales about her childhood.
He ranted: “We can never be surprised at what vile evil comes from the mouth of a confessed victim of child abuse at the hands of her own parents.
“Roseanne’s parents responded to the accusation by going on air and slating she is a psychopathic liar and her sister agreed.”
Jon also pointed to the occasion Roseanne sparked outrage with her rendition of the Star Spangled Banner before a 1990 baseball game in San Diego, during which she screeched throughout the tune before grabbing her crotch and spitting.
He added: “That gave us an insight into who she is and what she is capable of saying and doing.”
The Midnight Cowboy legend is also enraged at the comedienne for ridiculing Angelina’s indecision over which presidential candidate to endorse ahead of the US election.
Roseanne wrote on her blog page: “Miss Jolie says she likes John McCain too and hasn’t decided who to endorse… huh?
“Aren’t you supposed to be somewhat enlightened, or do you not know that the African daughter you hold in every picture had parents who suffered and died because of the Republican party’s worldwide economic assault on Africa over the last few decades since Ronald Reagan?”
She proceeded to call Angelina and her hubby Brad “evil” for “trying to look as if they give a c**p about humanity as they spit out more dunces that will consume more than their fair share and wreck the earth even more”.

I was under the impression that they would love someone who did what they could to help others around the world, people who at least appear like they care. I’m not necessarily a fan of Brad and Angie, but it doesn’t take a rocket scientist to figure out that they do actually care about people. Pitt has contributed a lot to rebuilding in the aftermath of Katrina, and you can’t dispute Jolie’s charitable contributions around the world.

August 21st, 2008 at 7:13 amHey I don’t agree with how the two are spending money on at least one useless “humanitarian” efforts. However, I do admire that they are putting their money where their mouth is.
For instance, Pitt’s “green” homeowner property development in New Orleans. It is really a wasteful endeavor, in my opinion. The buildings are too expensive for the target market to pay for, and if they could they are not smart enough to graduate from high school much less operate all the devices and systems installed.
With that said, Pitt has pretty much funded the whole idea & project out of his pocket. Thus he is willing to take a large risk.
I’ve always despised Roseanne from the first time I saw her on TV. As my mother used to say, “Cheap and common!”

I would rather see an articulate, intellectual attack on why Rosie is antithetical core American values (which she is), rather than slurs that I have taught my daughters dehumanize women. I know several other posters in the long thread about contributing money to this site expressed similar feelings.
I think bringing back respect for women is a conservative value that has been lost in modern America. With the media awash in Paris Hilton, Lindsay Lohan, and Britney Spears as so-called “role models” for girls in this country, I don’t want them to have to face “fucking bitch” and “cunt” in every headline on the very website I would encourage them to get their news from.

Agree … some times vulgarity is useful to make a point but in the last week there have been posts here on Helen Thomas, Michelle Malkin and now Rosanne Barr all of which would have been called in a boxing match for low blows.
Why is so hard to verbalize your disagreement or disgust with a person (or compliment their appearance) without swerving into the gutter?
Rosanne is a pathetic excuse for a human being. I actually pity her! She must have a very unhappy life and a seriously low self esteem to be as bitter as she is. But I suggest calling her a c***t or whatever weakens your argument as it allows you to be labeled as just another right wing cook.

That’s not the point - they need to know that language like that isn’t appropriate (for a number of reasons). Merely putting ‘*’ over certain letters doesn’t do anything.
