McCain And Hussein Go Nuclear: “McCain’s Campaign The Sleaziest In History”

Locked in a political death match with 52 days to live, the presidential campaigns went nuclear on what looked to be a quiet Saturday, with stumping curtailed because of Hurricane Ike’s catastrophic overnight hit on Houston.
Sen. Barack Obama’s national press secretary, Bill Burton, accused Sen. John McCain (R-Ariz.) of “cynically running the sleaziest and least honorable campaign in modern presidential campaign history. His discredited ads with disgusting lies are running all over the country today. He runs a campaign not worthy of the office he is seeking.”
That was prompted by a McCain campaign statement about remarks Obama (D-Ill.) made in Manchester, N.H., on Saturday morning.
McCain spokesman Tucker Bounds thundered by e-mail: “During the event, Barack Obama showed zero restraint in the ferocity of his attacks despite the wreckage in the gulf and his running mate’s cancellation in reaction to it.
“It says a lot about Barack Obama’s judgment that while his campaign canceled his appearance on ‘Saturday Night Live’ and his running mate stayed home, Obama went ahead and delivered a series of scathing personal attacks. Today’s attacks mark a new low from Barack Obama.”

Oh good. I hope Obama goes negative. Obama has so far given away or had taken away everything that made him stand out. Being a “new kind of politician” was all that was left. By going negative, he will squander that advantage as well. Look at his poll numbers. Until the Republican convention, McCain’s numbers didn’t go up, Obama’s went down. That’s because the more people learn about Obama, the less they like him. When he goes full bore trashing a former POW and a hockey mom, that will put his candidacy away for good.

Obama overlooks that pointing out his shortcomings, broken promises, poor legislative and non-executive records, his obsession for celebrity and cult of personality, his poor judgment and self-afflicted gaffes, his pandering ways and abuse of identity politics be it race, gender or age - is not lying, is not false, but an accurate description of a stuttering lightweight political hack and fraud chosen to to lead a morally, intellectually bankrupt Democratic party.

September 14th, 2008 at 11:41 amYesterday or the day before I read here that if Hussein applied to the FBI or the Treasury Dept. for employment he wouldn’t be accepted because he’d wouldn’t pass the FBI background check.
Which by extension means that any job in the Federal Gov. that required a background check Hussein would be disqualified for.
Including the Dept. of Justice.
And Hussein is a Harvard trained Lawyer, think about it.
