Petraus is great leader, but he would’ve been remembered as a lame duck just like Sanchez and Casey if it was’nt for the guys on the ground that showed him the way. The ‘point’ just does’nt teach them what they need to know for modern warfare, Vietnam did’nt teach them anything either aparently.
But our blood, sweat, tears and treasure are not going to fall for nothing. Victory is near and a safer world with free, prosperous Afghan and Iraqi people will be achieved.
