Category didn’t mean much compared to size of windfield and the water driven by it.
Lots of flooding in Lake Charles that was not seen during Rita. New Orleans levees came very close to being not just sloshed over (MSM mistakening says overtopped) by really over topped and subsequently washed out where armoring with concrete was non-existent.
