IRGC Takes Prisoner From Hospital, Hangs Him From His Stretcher

But seriously, good grief these people are inhuman. Now I’m all for publicly executing the worst of criminals that have been sentenced to die, it’s one of the few things in Sharia Law I happen to semi-agree with.
But man, this is just…sheesh. I suppose it could be worse…
Tehran, 14 Jan.- A Turkish citizen has been hanged in Iran while still on the stretcher that was used to transport him from the prison hospital to his execution in the Khoi jail in western Iran.
Hassan Hekmat Demir, was believed to be a member of the Kurdish group, PJAK, the Iranian branch of the Kurdish militant group PKK (Kurdistan Workers Party).
A photo of his execution was published in the Kurdish magazine Asu.
Hekmat Demir, a Kurd with Turkish citizenship, was arrested two months ago, after he was found almost frozen to death by a platoon of Iran’s Revolutionary Guards.
He was accused of terrorism and of being a member of an armed group. His trial proceeded in the absence of a lawyer and he was condemned to death by hanging.
The photo showed the blood stains on Hekmat Demir’s shirt and is is believed that he was probably tortured before being executed.

If this weren’t 2008, I would have thought that this was a pic of a Nazi murder somewhere inside Russia or Poland?

I gotta part the path with you a bit here, bro. Part of the full effectiveness to “Capital punishment” is how horrible the imagination can craft the pictures … Remember, on 9-11-01 people said they felt as if they were watching a movie. If you expose people to something enough, that element of mental effectiveness diminishes.
I remember an old movie I watched as a young teen, “Angels With Dirty Faces”, in which two kids that hung together on the mean streets live completely different lives as adults (one becomes public enemy #1 and the other a priest) … Well the next generation of kids idolize the criminal, much to the priest’s discontent. Until, after witnessing his former friend’s execution, the priest describes to the young gang of kids how their “hero” carried on in fear until his death. I recall the “shadow on the wall” of Jimmy Cagney as he struggled in “the chair” during the execution scene … Scared the shit out of me.
