Democratic leaders are losing all credibility
April 10th, 2008 at 2:31 pmHow much of our GDP goes to the Great Society stuff? We have had much less success and spent more there.
April 10th, 2008 at 2:32 pmTedB
damn good point!
We probably use 30 or 40% for unnecessary earmarks and social program spending. to Obama and Clinton supporters no doubt.
April 10th, 2008 at 2:34 pm“Iraq is the convergence point for two of America’s greatest threats: AQ and Iran.” Exactly… right. And the only candidate that “gets it” is McCain. And we’re only spending 4% of GDP on the GWOT?
Somebody go smack that puke Harry DickWeed upside that stupid head of his. Need a female volunteer to do the same to Nasti (Blinky) Peluski.
April 10th, 2008 at 2:35 pmThe idiot label in the pic is very charitable
April 10th, 2008 at 2:40 pmCan someone please explain to me when it became the governments job to bail businesses and private citizens out? I was taught in school that the government collected taxes to maintain a national military and to keep the road ways in working order mainly for the purpose of moving our military about. We citizens just benefited from the road way part.
School were suppose to be funded by the states. But I can see federal funding of schools if the curriculum was set straight across for all states and the standards raised not lower so everyone feels good about it.
Why in the hell should my tax money go to anything but national security FIRST and FOREMOST?
April 10th, 2008 at 2:46 pmThat’s the President that i love and respect.
Up yours REID!!!!!!! You Traitor Son-Of-A-Bitch !!!!!!!!!
April 10th, 2008 at 2:46 pmHow about the trillions of dollars we’ve spent on “the war on poverty” (LBJ) there are more “poor” people now in the USA than there ever was…What is the timetable to get out of that war…?
April 10th, 2008 at 2:50 pmGreat question ArleighB!
And, Oh Yeah, we will dearly miss President George W. Bush.
April 10th, 2008 at 3:04 pmHarry’s just pissed because his side is losing the war.
April 10th, 2008 at 3:10 pmIt may not even be hairy and it appears to be no more than a reed. A reed with little tiny seeds for the “you know what’s.”
April 10th, 2008 at 3:23 pmdumb cunt, crush skull
April 10th, 2008 at 3:26 pmAny time a democRat starts throwing out numbers it means they are obfuscating. They never put the numbers in perspective. Raw dollars today mean nothing compared to raw dollars of the past. Bush put it in perspective. Percentages are what gives the numbers perspective. During WWII, we were spending about 25% of the GDP on the war. Were Republicans clamoring for a withdrawal and a time-table for bringing the troops home? Hell, no. The patriots that were my parents’ generation knew they HAD TO WIN at all costs. Victory was what mattered. Screw Harry Reid and his lame party.
April 10th, 2008 at 3:32 pmMike Most
Correct your tense, young man!
LOST all credibility. Lost! Gone! Long ago!
April 10th, 2008 at 3:49 pmMan, you can tell Bush was “this close” to saying:
“Iraq is the convergence point for three of America’s greatest threats in this new century, AQ and Iran and the DNC.”
Gonna miss “W”.
April 10th, 2008 at 4:57 pmWith all the evidence:
1. the documentation of Saddam’s rule by terror;
2. the recently released joint Israeli/US report about Israel’s raid into Syria against Iraq’s WMD (which had been moved there prior to the war);
3. President Clinton’s stating in 1998 that it regime change in Iraq was official US policy;
4. the many links to prominent Democrats sounding the alarm on Iraq’s WMD;
5. The original congressional declaration asserting our right to commence the war;
6. and the recently translated/declassified reports on Saddam’s links with Al-Qaeda and other terrorist organizations…
How can any on the left keep a straight face when calling it “Bush’s War”?
April 10th, 2008 at 5:10 pmJUST A FYI… GOT THIS FROM A FRIEND A FEW MONTHS BACK..
A Billion Dollars…THIS IS TOO TRUE TO BE VERY FUNNY.
The next time you hear a politician use the word ‘billion’ in a casual manner, think about whether you want the politicians spending YOUR tax money.
A billion is a difficult number to comprehend, but one advertising agency did a good job of putting that figure into some perspective in one of its releases.
A. A billion seconds ago, it was 1959.
B. A billion minutes ago, Jesus was alive.
C. A billion hours ago, our ancestors were living in caves.
D. A billion days ago, no-one walked on the earth on two feet.
E. A billion dollars ago was only 8 hours and 20 minutes, at the current rate our government is spending it.
While this thought is still fresh in our brain, let’s take a look at New Orleans. It’s amazing what you can learn with some simple division…
Louisiana Senator Mary Landrieu (D), asked the Congress for $250 BILLION to rebuild New Orleans. Interesting number. What did it mean?
A. Well, if you were one of 484,674 residents of New Orleans (every man, woman, and child), you were supposed to get $516,528.00
B. Or, if you have one of the 188,251 homes in New Orleans, your were supposed to get $1,329,787.00 for repairs.
C. Or, if you are a family of four, your family would it have gotten $2,066,012.00
Washington, D.C .. HELLO!!! … Are all your calculators broken?? (No one got anything, and they never rebuilt New Orleans)

Tax him more,
Tax him until he’s good and sore.
Tax his coffin,

Tax the sod in which he lays.

‘Taxes drove me to my doom!’

Fuck all those jackasses, way to encourage the jihadis.
GOD BLESS PRESIDENT BUSH AND GOD BLESS THE BRAVE TROOPS AT HIS COMMAND!
April 10th, 2008 at 6:45 pmThe Constitution of the United States, Art. III, defines treason against the United States to consist only in levying war against them, or in adhering to their enemies, giving them aid or comfort. This offense is punished with death. By the same article of the Constitution, no person shall be convicted of treason, unless on the testimony of two witnesses to the same overt act, or on confession in open court.
Why are Senators Reid, Hussein O, etc. not in prison awaiting execution?
