Never Bring Fists To A Gun Fight - Fatal Shot? You Tell Me…
Dude, I was checking this out, check out how much blood he loses so quickly after hitting the floor, this may have been fatal.

Blood sprays onto the top right corner of the camera as well, and yes he probably died. That’s an artery shot

Who the Frack shoots an unarmed man?
May 30th, 2008 at 2:47 pmI think it’s called the sub clavicle artery, it’s a big one, if severed you lose consciousness almost immediately and then the the victim will bleed out and die in less than a minute.
I don’t know for sure.
Any Corpsman, Medics or Docs out there know?
May 30th, 2008 at 3:13 pmthey seem to have good photos of the perp, should be able to find the bastard.
May 30th, 2008 at 3:52 pmThe subclavian lies right under the clavical.
May 30th, 2008 at 4:55 pmI agree with Medic Mike. It appears the bullit enters the left mid to upper pectoral area, superior to the heart and clear of the aorta, through the subclavian artery. The exit wound is through, or just above the left scapula. Its terminal. Tag and bag ‘im.
May 30th, 2008 at 5:04 pmIt looks fake to me.
May 30th, 2008 at 6:51 pmWhy is the date 29/06/08?
May 30th, 2008 at 7:41 pmI could be way off but…
1. I don’t see a gun in his hand at any point before or after the shot. It looks like he has two fingers side by side.
May 30th, 2008 at 8:19 pm2. The flash seems way too bright.
3. Again, I could be way off but the blood spatter on the camera seems excessive.
Looks fake to me.
May 30th, 2008 at 8:44 pmIf you stop the video @ 32:05 you can see the
May 30th, 2008 at 9:11 pmhandgun. @ 33:16 you can see it when he brings his hand/arm down to his side
Looks real to me. Yes - fatal. Date could have
just been off on the cam.
I say it’s real and the date was set wrong.
May 31st, 2008 at 1:13 amResponse time will determine how fatal it was.
Wasn’t dead in the chest but up in his shoulder, you can tell from the second blood stain appear on the jacket once he his on the ground.
If it did hit the subcalvian artery he has a chance to bleed out from it, but he fell face down, meaning the bulk of the tissue damage and exit wound is higher than the injury so it has to pump up and out before he bleeds out. Takes quite awhile to bleed out through the enterance wound.
For as far as the amount of blood the stuff goes freaking everywhere, spraying and pumping if you get anything more than a graze (and even then). In black and white even a very thin film of the stuff of it will stand up like a pond so I wouldnt use that as to much of a influance in making your live or die guess.
If the responders get there before he goes into shock I will go with live. I will give him better odds as he is KO’d apparently and not flipping out and forcing shock on himself while pumping out even more go juice.
Just a grunt, but its amazing the things you pick up on.
May 31st, 2008 at 8:02 amFucking thieving assholes. How low.
May 31st, 2008 at 11:50 amThis guy is dead. The left subclavean is a large artery branching directly off the aortic arch. The average blood volume of a man is approx. 4 liters. The average cardiac output is 4-5 liters per minute. That means that this guy’s total blood volume can exit his body in just about one minute. I’ve seen it happen. Its called ‘exanguination’, and even in controlled environments like surgery its terminal.
