Real or Fake? Video That Freaked Out Half of Asia
They be gullible over there, methinks…here’s explanation that came with vid:
This video has surfaced recently of an apparent granny ghost in an elevator, captured by an office building’s CCTV system in Singapore.
At first, it was described as happening in the Volkswagen office tower in Shanghai, China … prompting officials there to say it wasn’t recorded in their offices.
Then, it became known as the Raffles Place ghost in Singapore.
Anyway, it’s been deemed to either be authentic, or a pretty good CGI attempt.
Some people’s farts just dog them all day long.

They would never sift through security footage to see it unless someone had cited it. I don’t believe that those two men saw it, so it must be fake.
May 10th, 2008 at 6:11 pmexcept for the occasional time that i get to stop by here, i’m just too fuckin’ busy to do something like this. I would hope that the next attempt would get the “ghost” in to the act sooner, that would allow me a chance to say, “well, that was dumb” with out sitting here waiting for the download.

May 10th, 2008 at 9:40 pmIts a fake…The “ghost” has a rather distinct shadow from a light source above and slightly behind it where as the no such shadow falls on the men. In addition because the men are wearing white shirts they reflect in the polished sides of the elevator and are illuminated from the front as the doors open. If the “ghost” has a shadow from a light source why doesn’t the shadow fill with light from the direction of the door and why then doesn’t it’s brightness reflect in the polished walls of the elevator? There is a few band of light in the elevator before the men arrive and the image manipulation is rather slick as the man crosses over the “ghost”, however its not a very difficult job to accomplish in todays digital age.
